Upgraded and refurbished existing steel bridges between Kiunga and Tabubil in Western Province in PNG to increase load carrying capacity.

Totaling 600m in length, 4 bridges made up of 2-lane composite construction were funded by AusAID and required minimal work on the riverbed level. A revised pier and upper bridgeworks design was completed and as result, sped up construction.
